I spent so much time experimenting with different textures and colors, trying to find the perfect balance between natural and magical. In the end, though, I really like how it turned out. The earthy colors give a sense of grounding and stability to the piece, while the little magical sparkles add a touch of whimsy and enchantment.     In the world of digital art, there's nothing quite In the world of digital art, there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of nailing a tricky technique. And for me, that technique was capturing the atmosphere and the way light shines through the delicate wings of a bat. My first attempt was a flop. So I took a break for a few weeks and came back to it with fresh eyes.     I made this painting few months ago, maybe in the I made this painting few months ago, maybe in the summer. I was watching Walid Feghali tutorials and I was inspired by one if his paintings. This scene allowed me to use some Procreate effects, such as chromatic aberration and glitch, to create atmosphere of a low quality night photograph. The tiny color strokes remind me of some horror camera footage just before something terrible happens. I'm just terrible at social media. But with Henry Cavill's recent news in mind, I thought it was about time... 💪🏼 You can find the original photo on his profile, I just added a bit of magic to it. I started with a blank canvas on a tablet where I only had a very limited number of layers, so it was a bit of challenge. In the end, this entire painting took me 8 hours and I'm still thrilled about the result. Honestly I did not expect such an outcome, which even exceeded my expectations.
